About
The Campaign
Voices for Vulnerable Children is a national campaign that enables high schools and colleges to take a stand against poverty and injustice by supporting children left orphaned and vulnerable by poverty, disease, and war. The campaign is run by students with administrative support from World Education.
The Goal
The goal of the Voices for Vulnerable Children: National Student Challenge fundraising campaign is to raise $75,000. At the end of the campaign, World Education will nationally recognize the top high schools and colleges and present a special award.

Getting involved is easy! Just follow the step-by-step instructions to create a Voices for Vulnerable Children Fundraising Page for your school. After you create your page, spread the word on MySpace and Facebook, let your friends and family know, and start fundraising!
About World Education
For more than 50 years, World Education and its partners have worked across countries in Asia and Africa to support the healthy development of vulnerable children. In Africa, with AIDS orphans, World Education is working to ensure that programs in communities address all the needs of these young people, from food and nutrition to education and psychological support. A key element of the World Education approach in Asia is reaching children who are not in school and enrolling them in classes and activities outside the tradition school system—a process commonly called nonformal education.
Nonformal education can be used to help bring skills, training, and resources to children who otherwise would have no opportunities to learn. By providing youth with opportunities to learn basic literacy, math, ways to stay healthy and safe, and build skills to become more effective in their lives, World Education is able to empower vulnerable children to take control of their lives.
Recognizing that children’s life circumstances are often determined by outside factors, World Education also works with families and communities, providing educational services to raise awareness of threats to children’s healthy development and empowering adults to better care and provide for their children.
