You can give vulnerable children a voice by speaking out on their behalf.

Establish a small group: It is important to build a core group of fundraisers committed to the campaign and able to coordinate fundraising activities, events, and group meetings.

Recruit an advisor: Find a faculty member who is willing to take an active role in your campaign.

Recruit volunteers: Find people to help you with short-term projects such as events and fundraisers.

Raise awareness: Talk with peers and teachers, share the Voices for Vulnerable Children PowerPoint presentation with your fellow students, pass out fliers in classrooms or create an awareness bulletin board display.

Build the network: Invite your friends to join the Voices for Vulnerable Children groups on Facebook and MySpace.

Fundraise: The possibilities are endless. Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Organize walks/runs/dance-a-thons
  • Sell wristbands and other merchandise to raise money and awareness.
  • Host a bake sale, car wash or concert.
